Employee Section

Most activities are free and do not require pre-registration. Programs are designed for elementary school children unless noted otherwise.

Carom boards, tetherball, board games, and outdoor ball are available for checkout during supervision hours.

Recreation staff are always on site during park hours. All activities are supervised. Rules of good conduct are enforced.

Perry Street Mini-Park was donated to the City from Shell Oil Products Company on October 22, 2005. This park is a 1.3-acre facility with sand play area, play apparatuses, and park furniture.

The Fabela Chavez Boxing Center at Scott Park has a 20 x 20 boxing ring, four heavy bags, speed bags, punch mits, cardio equipment, and amateur fights. Available for children (8 and older) and young adults.

We cater to those interested in seeking future competition in sparring, USA Ametuer competitions and those simply looking for a good workout. Professional coaches are available for those interested.
